Tomorrow night Game 7 of the NBA Finals will be played. Either the Heat or the Spurs will win. Only one. After the game, some chill tunes will be played. Frosty beverages will be served. Everyone will win. Everyone attending.  AUDIO CHEESEBURGERS is at 10:00pm this Thursday,June 20, at the Good Luck Bar in Los Feliz. I’ll be lobbing up some solid jams all night, so sink an easy free-throw and tally up those assists from the rest of league: Dirty Garage Rockers 70s AM Classics British Invaders Funky Stunners And plenty of other assorted tracks Don’t get blocked trying to win the game. Get in the mood for this year’s annual LA Times Battle of the Burgers, which starts tomorrow, with AUDIO CHEESEBURGERS, tonight at 10pm at the Good Luck Bar.

These beautiful babies above are last year’s winners, and these are their respective recipes.

To join this elite burger echelon, submit your own recipe to the our food section’s Facebook page starting tomorrow, and find out if your homegrown recipe can top the competition.

As for tonight, I’ll be playing my set a little different than usual, with two songs from the same artist, back-to-back. Any requests?

No more Lakers. No more Clippers. At least there’s still Audio Cheeseburgers at the Good Luck Bar.On Thursday, May 16th at 10pm, I’ll be tossing up some jump shots from downtown and lobbing alley-oops to all the patrons in attendance. Solid sets of tunes all night, so cut through that zone defense and dunk a sonic assist from the usual stylings: Garage Rock British Invasion Funky Stunners Modern Lo-Fi And plenty of other assorted tracks Don’t roll your ankle trying to win the game. Pass the rock and relax with some cool tunes, chill drinks and good times. Music starts at 10. Still chill. Still unpretentious.

If yr still here in LA, instead of sweating out in that sandtrap, why don’t you put a little topspin on your weekend and hit the clubhouse of the Good Luck Bar on Thursday, April 18th at 10pm. I’ll be spinning some tasty tunes all night, so grip your cocktail tight and keep those shoulders loose. It’s been said that a drink warms the heart as well as the body. I’m not sure if that’s actually true, but a drink always sounds like a good idea, especially when it’s cold. If that isn’t enough, the bar also serves some frosty cocktails if that’s yr pleasure. I’m gonna be mixing it up, trying something new, with my audio selections this month. Don’t worry. According to scientists and teachers and parents, summer is over. These are all lies. If the month of September has proved anything, it’s summer never really ends. It just keeps growing and growing, and maybe someday the entire year will be one long summer. I’m totally cool with that. In preparation, I’ll be serving up some chill tunes for yr ears this Thursday, September 20, at the Good Luck Bar in Los Feliz in an effort to beat the heat. If that isn’t enough, the bar also serves some legitimately tasty cocktails for yr enjoyment. As a special treat this month, I’ve asked Terry to concoct some of his choicest cuts for the 11 o’clock hour. He’s put together a Post-Modern Love Songs Dedication Hour, filled Indie, Soul, Classic and Shoegaze, blended with the themes of love and heartbreak for you to devour. Unfortunately, you can’t drink these out of a coconut. I’ll have the regular selection of audio accoutrements available for you: Classic Fuzz Rock and British Invasion Cuts Modern Electro-Fun Music Lo-Fi and Punk Rockers And plenty of other assorted jams So come down early, cool off and fill up yrself up on another awesome night of tunes, beverages and human interaction.
